Careful What You Post Online While Wearing The X.Pose Dress, You Might End Up Naked

Not thinking twice before letting your views rip online? Never meeting your Facebook ‘friends’ and only messaging online? You might want to consider getting this x.pose dress. Two designers from New York University (NYU) created a dress with “panels across (that) can flicker before becoming clear, revealing the skin underneath“ whenever you post something online. Inventors Pedro Oliveira and Xuedi Che came up with x.pose to remind users who don’t realize they are actually “naked and vulnerable” online and step back.
Yup, the more you post, the more naked you get.

Panels on the dress are made up of a special conducting material

Now you see it… Panels on the dress become transparent when an electricl current is applied

The 3D printed dress works using an app to monitor the user’s online activity. The mesh in the dress can then be controlled accordingly.

The x.pose dress works with an app to monitor the wearer’s location and what they are doing. It responds to changes by making dress panels become transparent
